Lisa Jefferson

In 2018, music industry veteran, Lisa Jefferson, launched LRJ Account Management, a business management company. Before the launch, Lisa spent close to a decade as an account manager / bookkeeper for a premiere accountancy corporation in Calabasas, CA serving corporate, small business, sports, and entertainment clients. 

 

Jefferson worked for 15 years in the music industry, rising to Vice President, Press & Artist Development at Elektra Entertainment. During her tenure, Jefferson worked with world-renowned talents, such as Anita Baker, Natalie Cole, Ziggy Marley, David Sanborn, Etta James, En Vogue, Yolanda Adams, Teddy Pendergrass, Al Green, Janet Jackson, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, Keith Sweat, Gerald Levert, and The Isley Brothers. Other stand-out label artists included Sting, Metallica, Amy Grant, Bjork, Natalie Merchant, Jason Mraz, and Tracy Chapman.​​

 

LRJ Account Management is founded on relationships. Designed to help busy professionals and individuals organize their financial affairs, Lisa draws on her experiences working alongside music executives and artists. She developed a knack for identifying needs and solving problems and brings that knowledge to LRJ's clients, who include, musicians, directors, producers, designers, and entrepreneurs.

Lisa is a wife, mother to three children, and lives in sunny Southern California. She spends her free time writing, enjoying nature, and paying attention to the politics of the day. She serves as Treasurer on the board of the non-profit organization Hope's Nest, which serves the critical needs of under-served Los Angeles children.
